for the mouth piece, are the extensions supposed to just easily slide off?

moistfusion September 12, 2010 at 9:06 pm

what part is the moisture condensor? cuz the video doesn’t point to it when it comes up

Holy shit I thought rolling took some preperation. Too much work to blaze.

I have had mine for 6 months. I use it almost everyday. Follow the SIMPLE STEPS and enjoy.
USE 5x BUTANE. the butane is key.
SHAKE YOUR BUTANE BEFORE REFILLING.
SHAKE THE IOLITE BEFORE LIGHTING.
KEEP IT CLEAN. Q-TIPS & ISOPROPYL, FOLLOWED BY Q-TIPS & WATER. DRY Q-TIPS.

@fedorgspsilvamma I was having lighting issues with mine, but I called the number for service and now it works just fine everyday.

People this is a great product. I have saved money because you only need a little. Mine paid for itself in two months. $205 USD at my iolite dot com for the unit & a pouch to keep it safe. Use 5x filtered butane $2.99 for a 10.6 oz. can. Shake the can before refill. Shake your vaporizer before you light it. Keep it clean. No problems just cool vaporizing times.

i would not recommend the iolite. having a handheld vape is nice but i always had problems with it not working properly. refilling it can be a bitch the heating system on mine no longer works and dont drop it cuz its feels like really cheap plastic . got mine at a smoke shop bout 9 months ago 300$ only got a good month of use before having problems i no longer use it . i thought this would be a better alternative to smoking but its not the same high either but i guess thats vaporizers for you

equusential September 12, 2010 at 10:41 pm

@54321A5 Hells yea! You don’t have to use near as much as you do when you smoke it & you get the same or better results! 😉

equusential September 12, 2010 at 11:07 pm

@yurikomuro It’s actually really easy once you get used to it. Use it once & you’ll be set. 🙂 I would recommend the comfort package though.

equusential September 12, 2010 at 11:37 pm

@Down2Funk I got the same problem with both my Iolites. It’s frustrating!

Amazing product I don’t know about the people which actually bitch about the iolite (like the people who say it can’t get them high (what?) ) ive had it for a while its saved me astronomical amounts of weed, i know there are other vaporisers out there which are better but for portability this is the best

chillaxinonline September 13, 2010 at 3:23 am

I own an iolite and they suck. My magic flight launch box that just arived yesterday kills it in everyway. Trust me. Look up mflb and save some money. Built and used by tru vapeheadz.

vyskol September 13, 2010 at 5:03 am

I love my iolite. I’ve had mine for 3-4 months now and rarely use anything else. It works great.

wedgenstein September 13, 2010 at 5:40 am

It’s a great little product, have had mine about 6 months and love it! Had an issue with the mouthpiece but the manufacturers were great about it…great customer service! It’d be great if they sold these at a discount at medicinal outlets, hell of a lot cheaper than a Volcano that I’m sure not a lot of medicinal user’s can afford, but at least this puts it in the users hands, portable is cool…

Ste0wnz September 13, 2010 at 5:58 am

@BDBrianD
Lol that made me laugh too

Ste0wnz September 13, 2010 at 6:26 am

Nonolocote September 13, 2010 at 6:41 am

It works really good. You won’t be disappointed.

monkeyface3333 September 13, 2010 at 6:47 am

are you pressing the nozle of the butane in on an angle? sometimes if you dont make sure ts perfectly straight then it leaks out the side like your saying

aharpp September 13, 2010 at 7:16 am

@Down2Funk

Down2Funk, I had this problem for soooo long.

– Try doing the venting step. (can be found on the iolite website),
– If that doesnt help , I also found that the butane container stem piece wouldnt go over the iolites pin very well. So I bought a different bottle with a better stem and now it fills up everytime and there is no spray like before. Works perfect for me now. I’m currently using MASTERCRAFT butane from Canadian tire and have had no problems since! good luck!
